From Ceremony to Reception
Congratulations Joey and Rob! What an unbelievably romantic ceremony and reception. The lovely couple celebrated among their closest relatives and friends. The food was delicious, from the canapes to the main courses, everything was exquisite. We loved the vine and rose details on the tables and the violinist was a beautiful touch.
Perfect Ceremony, Perfect Reception
Congratulations Brian and Angela! We are so lucky to have seen such a beautiful ceremony and reception at Shaughnessy. We always aim to make any wedding as spectacular as ever, and the views from our stunning covered outdoor patio offer the perfect place to say “I do”.
Orchids and Pastels
Congratulations Joey and David! It was exciting to see the room transformed with large bouquets of orchids and hydrangeas on tall table vases, something we rarely see but that is aperfect way to compliment the high ceilings of our venue. We loved seeing the white, pink, and purple hues inside compliment the greenery of the gardens as well.
Pretty in Pink
Congratulations Aly and Maral! It was so special to celebrate these two amazing people under a grey March sky. The room looked stunning; the lighting was perfection. It’s a true testament to our venue that no matter what – rain, shine, or snow – the room is always captivating. The decor was perfect in pink florals and pink cupcakes and the green backdrop paired perfectly. From mingling outdoors on our covered and heated deck to dinner and then dancing, the night was sensational.
A Beautifully Rustic Wedding
Congratulations Corinna and Mike! The couple wed on our 75 seat patio just as the sun was setting. It was a beautiful evening that started with cocktails after the ceremony, dinner to follow, and ending with some ‘get-down’ dancing. The decor was modest but perfected in the small details of sprigs of rosemary and trails of dried leaves. The bundles of flower arrangements on wood vases added a chic element to the rustic theme. It was the perfect evening to enjoy drinks on the patio and an even lovelier evening to share smiles, laughs, tears, and embraces with friends and family of the bride and groom.

Pacific NorthWest Wedding
Congratulations Elena and Keith! We loved how the Pacific NorthWest was highlighted in this magical garden wedding. The early 1900s reclaimed wood beams and simple interior decor accented beautifully among the evergreens of Vandusen Gardens, and the overcast day was comfortable and to be expected for a Westcoast wedding. The setup was unique and accommodating, using round and rectangle tables for dinner service which allowed for a much more connected experience among guests, and with their ceremony out on our covered patio, the guests were able to mingle outside into the night. It was as if the city buzz was very far away, just as it should be.
